Posted December 17th, 2018

In 2017, PACE treated the South Terminal at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) with EndoTherm to improve heat transfer and efficiency. The result was 17.32% reduction in boiler natural gas consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. YVR's EndoTherm case study was recently reviewed and published by the Building Energy Innovators Council (BEIC). The project had full payback in the first year, reducing natural gas consumption by 432.49 GJ. This gas reduction cut greenhouse gas emissions by 25.98 tonnes of CO2e which is equivilant to removing the emissions of 5.6 cars per year.
