Legionnaire’s Cases in Moncton Up To 9, Source Search Continues

Health officials have reported that the 9 cases of Legionnaire’s Disease in Moncton, NB, are related. They have been able to narrow the search for the source to the west area of Moncton, specifically focusing on 26 cooling towers in that area. The diseases were reportedly all from the same area and within the past month. Officials are trying to find the main source of the outbreak, which they believe to be from one cooling tower, through analysis of wind data during that time frame and questioning of the public.
